Canadians Reaching Out to the World’s Children (CARO) is a charitable foundation, based in Medicine Hat, Alberta that works in both local and international contexts, to improve the lives of children and their families facing challenging times.

MHART and CARO begin collaboration (2022)
Within a caring community, common ground is easy to find. With both the MHART Board and the CARO Board facing some changes, conversations began between our organizations to consider what non-profit work in Medicine Hat would look like post-pandemic. Sharing a common desire to improve the lives of children and families, both in Canada and beyond, the two organizations are developing a partnership under the CARO banner, with MHART as a project team, still with a heart for refugee resettlement.
